Discussion/Outlook

At 11 am, the remnants of Tropical Depression 11 was located near 14.5 N 56.0 W or 415 miles east-northeast of the Windward Islands.  The depression is moving to the west near 12 mph.  Maximum sustained winds are near 25 mph, and the depression is expected to dissipate by tonight.

Discussion/Outlook

At 11 am, the center of Tropical Storm Kirk is located near 9.3 N 30.2 W or 545 miles southwest of the Southernmost Cabo Verde Islands.  Kirk is moving to the west near 21 mph, and this general motion is expected to continue at an even faster rate of speed for the next few days.  Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph, some strengthening is forecast through Monday, followed by weakening during the middle part of the week.

Discussion/Outlook

At 11 am, the center of Subtropical Storm Leslie is located near 33.0 N 46.5 W or 1145 miles west-southwest of the Azores.  Leslie is moving to the west near 3 mph, and little overall movement is expected for the next couple of days.  Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph, and while some strengthening is forecast, Leslie will be absorbed by a larger non-tropical low by the middle of the week.
