Good morning, before I even get to the announcements, today is a special day in the history of Equinox Weather. Today is the 4th anniversary of Equinox Weather which started as Central Indiana Weather back on this day in 2015. While times have been tough, especially the last few months, I am proud of what has been accomplished in the past 4 years and I hope that I will be able to continue for another 4 years (of course my health will have a lot to do with that).
Now we got that out of the way, a quick update on my health, as you all may know, my health has been really up and down, especially during the past month and unfortunately, there will be times where I have to day several days off at a time to deal with them and get the rest I need to get so I can keep this going. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to all that have stuck by me during the past couple of years, and if you liked the page prior to 2017, you know what I mean.
The last thing, is changes, beginning today, we will be rolling out new maps and now will begin doing some weather on the national stage. We will begin posting a national forecast daily, typically right after we post the Western Washington forecast. Speaking of Western Washington, when we roll out the new map, it will be for the entire state of Washington, but the focus will remain on Western Washington, after attempting to crop out the eastern portion, it made my map look pretty bloated, so we will have forecasts for the entire state, but again, the focus will be on Western Washington. In the future, we hope to roll out regional forecasts for the Ohio Valley/Great Lakes and the Pacific Northwest. That’s all I have and below will be when the new maps will debut. Have a great day and God Bless!
